On Saturday, December 14 our church will again be offering "Take a Walk Through Christmas" for our own congregation and the community. Volunteers are needed for set up and on the evening of the event which will be from 6:30pm to 8pm . Whether it be participating in one of the live nativity vignettes, helping with Christmas crafts, caroling or donating your baked cookies, there is a place for you to serve during this Advent season event and in doing so bring the Christmas Story and its good news alive in the hearts and minds of others.

Calling All Writers for Our 2024 Advent Devotional! Join us in creating our Advent Devotional at North Point Church! The four weeks before Christmas invite us to reflect together on Hope, Peace, Joy, and Love as we prepare our hearts for God’s Kingdom. We need 25 devotions, and we’d love for you to write one! Please submit your devotion by Sunday, November 17, with a word count of 300 or less. Each devotion should begin with a scripture passage and end with a short prayer, and can be sent to alane@np-church.org and rob@np-church.org. To inspire your reflection, consider these prompts: Is there a character in the Christmas story who captures your heart or teaches you a lesson? Do you have a favorite Christmas memory that reflects Christ’s gift to the world? Or perhaps there is a Christmas carol that fills you with joy each season. Let’s celebrate together by sharing our voices and reflections during this meaningful season!
Red Cross Childcare Safety Course We will be hosting a Red Cross Childcare Safety Course for students 14 years and older. This would be a great certification for your teens who would like to find babysitting jobs over the holidays! Date and time are TBD. Olive Crest Gift Tags We have gift tags from Olive Crest with Christmas wish list items for foster children. If you'd like to participate, please select a tag, purchase a gift, and return your wrapped present by November 30. Thank you for helping make their holiday season brighter! NPC Youth Group Meets on Mondays, 5:30pm to 7pm Join friends, enjoy games and have a meal, together with our youth group. We meet at The Next Door Youth Center. on Mondays, from 5:30pm to 7pm. Wonder Trackers, November Event: Give Thanks Walk at Poulsbo’s Fish Park, Friday, November 29, 1pm Beginning in 2002, Tom Nordlie, a member of our North Point family, was very instrumental in the creation of Fish Park. The park has grown and changed immensely over time. Join us for a stroll through the park over boardwalks across wetlands and through alder groves. Viewing platforms provide good views into the estuary where the Dog Fish Creek meets the bay. Evidence of this year’s salmon run may still be present... you just never know who we might see! This event will be held at Poulsbo Fish Park (288 NW Lindvig Way, Poulsbo) on Friday, November 29 at 1:00PM. Meet at the main
lot on Lindvig Street. This walk is rated "easy" and has a mostly level trail with some gentle incline/decline. Please register for this hike by texting

Help Decorate the Church for the Holidays, Saturday, November 30, 10am North Point volunteers will be decorating the church for the Christmas season on Saturday, November 30 and could use a hand! Please contact Dixie at dixiedking@hotmail.com with questions.
Longest Night of the Year, Central Kitsap Presbyterian Church, Silverdale, December 19, 6pm Grieving? Missing someone this holiday? Feeling blue? Away from home and loved ones? On Thursday, December 19th Central Kitsap Presbyterian Church, North Point Church, Rolling Bay Presbyterian Church and Summit Avenue Presbyterian Church will host a worship service for people who find the season between Thanksgiving and Christmas a difficult one. This time period can be hard to navigate because of the loss of a loved one and the grief that sets in at this time of the year, a loss such as a divorce or change in jobs, or simply because of Seasonal challenges. If you or someone you know would find this service meaningful, please mark your calendars. If it is someone you know who is struggling at this time of year, please consider not only inviting them but offering to come with them in support.

The walk-through experience will be open from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm, with each tour lasting about 15 minutes. We’d love your help to make this event a memorable celebration for our community! We’d love for you to join our volunteer team! If you enjoy caroling, helping with crafts, or lending a hand with setup and cleanup, please reach out to alane@np-church.org. Your help will make this event truly special! We’re also seeking donations of Christmas cookies to share with our guests! Please email Pam at flannelpam@aol.com to deliver cookies.
Important Reminder about Parking The parking lot across the street at the high school is available for overflow parking on Sunday mornings. This frees up parking for our new guests and those with mobility issues.

We’ll share a meal, pray together, and study God’s word to learn to follow Jesus more closely, in the company of friends. This group meets on Thursdays from 6 to 8pm at the Lutzenhiser residence.
