Students

  • Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, “This is the way; walk in it.”

Isaiah 30:21

Sundays for Youth

Students from 6th to 12th grade are invited to join us on Sunday mornings (when Sunday School students are dismissed from worship service) for fun with a purpose: learning together what it means to share the love of Jesus to those around us. We will be making new friends. We have fun creating videos, skits, infomercials, promo pieces, cartoons, and more to bring awareness of the needs of our local community and beyond.

Youth Group

Get Connected. Go Deeper.

Mondays, 5:30pm to 7:30pm

The North Point Church Youth Group is part of our ministry to 6th-9th grade students. As part of our student ministry, NPC Youth Group is dedicated to helping students encounter Jesus NOW in a way that continues into their NEXT phase of life. Whether it’s playing games, watching a movie, crafts, books, or just hanging out, everything we do is about developing a connection to Jesus and one another.

NPC Youth Group meets every Monday evening from 5:30 PM -7:30 PM at the Next-Door Youth Center. The 1st and 3rd Monday of each month are themed nights in which the food, games and talk are all centered around that particular theme. The 2nd Monday of each month is Girl's Night Out, girl's empowering girls, and Guys Hangout, guys just being guys. The 4th Monday of each month is Book Club in which the love of reading is shared, books are swapped, and creativity is sparked with an opportunity to write and share short stories in response to a writing prompt.

The NPC Youth Group is a great place to connect so join us and bring a friend!

The Next Door Youth Center

The Next Door Youth Center is open during the week.  Middle school and high school students are welcome to stop by for snacks, help with homework, a place to hang and play video games and/or with friends.

During the school year, the hours are:
Tuesdays 2:25pm to 4:30 pm
Wednesdays, 1:25pm to 3:30 pm
Thursdays, 2:25pm to 4:30 pm

  • Bring your friends and hang out. Or meet some new ones!
  • Use our safe and comfortable space to get some homework done.
  • Take advantage of some free tutoring (warning, we may not be good at every subject!)
  • Participate in some of our free programs and events.
  • Talk to an adult leader who will lend a listening ear.

Our church leaders and parents are continuing to work on programming that will support and engage our students online and in person. We look forward to partnering with Youth for Christ to reach more students and families in the area.

Take A Walk Through Christmas
Benefit for Fishline
December 8 & 9

We invite you to take a walk through Christmas at North Point Church this holiday season. You’ll time travel back 2000 years to meet Mary and Joseph, Aunt Elisabeth and the angel Gabriel. You’ll transform into a heavenly host singing to some rowdy shepherds watching their flocks by night. Finally you’ll come to the place where the baby Jesus rests in a manger, and like the Magi, will have an opportunity to bring gifts that will honor Christ and bless the needy families of our community through the ministry of Fishline.

There will be an interactive craft station for kids as well as refreshments. Walk through anytime between 6pm to 8pm. Expect to spend approximately 25 minutes for one walk through. Suggested donation of $5/family or a non-perishable food donation (not required for entry). All proceeds and food will go to benefit Fishline Food Bank.

Candles, Carols, and Choirs
A Night for Christmas Music
at North Point
December 16, 6pm

Don’t we all long for a Christmas that feels like we’d hoped Christmas should feel: warm, accepting, joyful and full of love: with the sounds of familiar carols and beautiful music; with harps and strings and and singers performing carols that promise peace on earth and good will to all people.

Join us at North Point on Saturday, December 16th at 6pm. Perhaps the concert, Candles, Carols and Choirs, will be just the thing to let the light of Christmas burn a little brighter in your life this holiday season. Whatever Christmas you’re living this year, we hope the hopes and fears of all the years will be met in Him that night.

NEW High School Study: “Experiencing God”
Sunday School Hour
Classroom 2

God has used the truths of Experiencing God to awaken believers to a radically God-centered way of life. As a result, millions have come to know God intimately, to recognize His voice, and to understand His will for their lives. In this eight-session study, God is inviting teens to experience Him in an intimate love relationship through which He reveals His will, His ways, and His work. Contact Ms. Angel with questions at angel@np-church.org.

True North Youth Choir

True North is a youth choir for students in 6th-12th grade.  We hone our singing skills and practice a variety of musical styles.  The purpose of True North is to share our songs of faith at North Point and also to the community, always pointing to our True North, Jesus Christ.  Our first rehearsal will be Sunday, September 24 from 11:15 to 12pm.  No previous experience is necessary-we provide the training and fun.  People in the community are also welcome to join.
