Tom Curran

Building and Grounds Manager

It is a pleasure helping out with business matters and other tasks in support of North Point Church. My wife Lani, I and our 3 children, joined North Point in 2000. Lani and I have both enjoyed being able to serve on Session and as Deacons. We have also been blessed by the many friends we’ve met here and by joining in several enriching Small Groups along the way. We love it here!
My past work includes 12 years on active duty in the Navy followed by 24 years in full time private practice as an Oral Surgeon. Over the last three years, being in part-time practice, it has been a joy being more able to participate in the challenging and important work of serving and loving our Lord and our neighbors at North Point Church.

Mike Jauregui

Director of Music Ministries

Mike Jauregui's musical journey began in Winslow, Arizona, where he was immersed in worship music from a young age. His parents were integral to the worship team at First Christian Church and later Winslow Christian Fellowship, with his mother leading songs and his father directing the school music programs. This early exposure laid the foundation for Mike's passion for worship leading and music.

After moving to Palm Springs, CA, Mike had the unique opportunity to learn from legendary musicians of the Big Band Era. He formed his own jazz combo, performing at various venues while continuing to lead worship in churches throughout the Coachella Valley.

In 2009, Mike received a grant to study at the Royal Academy of Music in London, where he trained under renowned trombonists Ian Bousfield and Denis Wick. His academic achievements include numerous scholarships and awards, such as a four-year music scholarship to the University of Redlands Conservatory of Music and multiple scholarships from the Palm Springs Friends of the Philharmonic.

Mike's performance accolades include appearing on the President's Honor Recital and winning the 2008 University of Redlands Concerto Competition, where he performed the Tomasi Concerto for Trombone and Orchestra.

After graduating, Mike moved to Seattle to further his career as a composer, conductor, guitarist, singer, and trombonist. He has performed with Grammy-award-winning composer Mateo Massina, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees Mike McCready of Pearl Jam and Mike Mills of REM, as well as Sir Mix-a-Lot. His versatility extends to various ensembles, including the Seattle Rock Orchestra, post-grunge band Crosswave, and soul band Vicious Petals.

In 2016, Mike and his rock band, Manifide, released the album "Brighter Days," which led to the creation of the Brighter Days Project. This initiative raises awareness about depression and mental health, emphasizing the positive impact those who struggle can have on society. The project was featured on NBC's New Day Northwest and included a concert showcase supporting mental health awareness.

Mike's dedication to music education is evident in his roles as former choir director at Eagle Harbor Congregational Church and creator of music programs for the YMCA of Pierce & Kitsap counties. He also founded Mike Jauregui Productions and Fairweather Cottage Studios, where he runs the Kitsap Academy of Music and records local artists.

Currently, Mike serves on the faculty at Crosspoint Christian Academy, teaching choir, robotics, video production, and computer science. He holds a Master’s in Music Education from Eastern Washington University and is an active board member of the Music Discovery Center.

Mike and his wife Elyse, who serves as the Palliative Care Chaplain at Harborview Medical Center, enjoy spending time together raising their son Wyatt, along with their two dogs and two cats.  Mike is honored to be working at North Point Church, and hopes to inspire and lead through his continuing heart for worship, musical talents, and dedication to the community.

Anna Morris-Facey

Youth Ministry Director

Hi! I’m Anna Morris-Facey and I moved from MN to Sammamish, WA in 2015 and have been in the world of Youth Ministry for 16 years. I now live on Bainbridge Island with my husband, Jon-Andre, and am so excited to join North Point and get to know all of you!
I have gone through a wide range of interests – I’m one of those people who like to try new things, learn everything about the new thing, and then move on to something else. That said, my long term interests include wandering botanical gardens and parks, riding the ferry, and leisurely cycling with my husband. I also love reading (my goal is 50 books this year!), cooking, and music in all forms - singing, guitar, occasional piano, and listening to music.  I’ve been a fairly avid ‘camp’ person all my life. Campfires, sitting under the stars, playing games outside, etc. are some of the best parts of camp!

Hot Shots in downtown Poulsbo has been a frequent hang-out space of mine the last couple of years and I love spending time talking about life over a mug of coffee or tea.
