Military

  • Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.

John 15:13

North Point Church is located just 10 miles from Bangor Trident Sub Base and Naval Undersea Warfare Center at Keyport. Our community and church leadership includes both active and retired military personnel and families from all branches. We understand the sometimes complex life of the military family and welcome you for a visit or to make North Point Church your church home.

Opportunities to Serve

North Point Church has a vibrant community of all ages. We invite you to learn more about the many different ways you can find fulfillment through service. From serving lunch to high school students on Mondays in the fall and spring, to welcoming visitors on Sunday mornings, there are opportunities for everyone.

Gatherings

Mens Breakfast

North Point's Men's Breakfast meets on the 1st Saturday of every month at 8am. Please join us as we enjoy prayer and conversation mixed with the smell of coffee and bacon. Contact Tom Curran at tom@np-church.org with questions.

Women's Ministry

This group is for women of all ages to gather and
get to know one another. We meet quarterly and explore our creativity together.
Contact Karen Schweitzer at neilschweitzer@yahoo.com for more information.

Small Groups

Small Groups are a key part of the community at North Point. They’re great way to grow in God’s Word and connect with other members of our family in a smaller, more intimate setting.

Support

Griefshare

This weekly seminar and support group is designed to help you find comfort in a safe space, with others who have been through similar loss. It is moderated by a GriefShare coordinator and meets Tuesdays from 10am to 11:30am at North Point Church in classroom 4. The 13 week Autumn session begins September 19th. Please contact Janet Norem at kejnorem@comcast.net with questions.

Divorce Care

This weekly group will meet in person starting September 11. Each weekly seminar/support group meeting runs from 6:30pm to 8:00pm. This will be a hybrid group; attendees are welcome to join in person or via Zoom. Anyone who is separated, divorced, or considering divorce is welcome to attend. Find hope, encouragement and experience healing! Questions? Please contact Sharron Clark at onlyJesus@comcast.net or (360) 621-6932.

Deacons

North Point Church’s Deacons are elected, ordained, and installed by our congregation to three-year terms. They have leading roles in North Point’s caring ministries. They are available to support our church community with prayer, transportation, meals and other needs.
The Deacon board meets monthly to seek God’s guidance in serving individuals and families at North Point Church.
